Automation Technician – 5297 CBO

 

Our client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, both in the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is looking for an Automation Technician for a 12 months contract (extension possible) based in the Valais area, Switzerland.

 

Main Responsibilities:

·      Assist in the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of EMR systems and telematics systems

·      Assisting in the planning of smaller systems and working with the installation teams

·      Troubleshooting of EMR installations

·      You will carry out preventive maintenance work on EMR equipment

·      You will repair and check electrical equipment

·      Calibration, control and handling of measuring equipment is also part of your duties

 

 

Education and Qualification:

·      Relevant Swiss working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required

·      You have an apprenticeship as an automation technician EFZ or comparable technical training

·      Good German language skills

·      Team player, reliable, able to work independently, flexible and able to work under pressure
