Cleanroom Environment Monitoring Specialist – 6708 URA

 

Our client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, both in the chemical and biotechnology sector.

 

In this role, our client is looking for a Cleanroom Environment Monitoring Specialist, who will be responsible for performing environmental and utility sampling in GMP-regulated cleanroom areas and controlled systems. This is a contract role for initial 6 months with good chances of extension . This role is in Visp in Vallis area and is onsite.

 

Main Responsibilities:

·       Perform environmental monitoring in classified areas, including air, surfaces, and utility systems, in strict compliance with GMP regulations and established SOPs.

·       Collect and handle samples across environmental and utility areas with a focus on accuracy, reliability, and traceability.

·       Ensure all sampling activities are documented clearly, completely, and in a timely manner in GMP-compliant systems.

·       Collaborate closely with team members to plan, maintain, and execute sampling schedules effectively.

·       Escalate deviations, anomalies, or issues promptly and contribute to root cause analysis and corrective actions.

·       Support continuous improvement of sampling processes and documentation practices to enhance compliance and efficiency.

·       Follow all safety and hygiene requirements when working in classified and controlled areas.

 

Qualifications

·       Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required

·       Completed vocational training (apprenticeship or equivalent).

·       Confident use of PCs and standard software applications (e.g., MS Office).

·       Fluent German skills, both spoken and written; English is an advantage.

·       High willingness to learn and adapt to GMP-regulated environments.

·       Structured, solution-oriented, and independent approach to work.
