Our client, a global market leader in the production and process support of active pharmaceutical ingredients, both in the chemical and biotechnology sectors, is looking for a:

Facilities Coordinator/Manager

for a 12-month contract with high possibility of extension.

In this role, you will be responsible to manage access and report attendance in containers, report and coordinate maintenance to equipment, and support the Construction Manager as required.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Establish and monitor adherence to container village rules (security, cleanliness, inventory).
  • Operate and manage the Salto access system, including data synchronization and license procurement with Zemac.
  • Perform access reviews, deactivate unused credentials, and maintain door systems (updates, batteries).
  • Inspect and coordinate cleaning, maintenance, and repairs across container sites.
  • Maintain and update container data for dashboards and reporting.
  • Plan ahead with project teams to anticipate facility needs, support project ramp-downs, and manage closures.
  • Oversee container ownership and contracts (purchase, rental, hybrid agreements).
  • Collaborate with project controlling to ensure accurate cost tracking and allocations.
  • Provide monthly reports covering safety, operations, and any ongoing or resolved issues.
  • Support relocation, setup, and decommissioning of containers and facilities.
  • Assist with facility handovers, ongoing maintenance, and final decommissioning.
  • Offer technical assistance in procuring containers, equipment, furniture, and services (e.g., heating, waste).
  • Manage incoming construction documentation from contractors.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required;
  • Languages: Fluent German and English (C1 level preferred);
  • Proven experience in container management, vendor coordination, and facilities management;
  • Strong time management and ability to work independently during quieter periods;
  • Proficiency in Excel and data handling.
