Our client is a global leader in the pharmaceutical industry, headquartered in Basel. Known for its innovative therapies in Oncology and Ophthalmology, the company is expanding a robust development pipeline in Neuroscience and Dermatology with one of the strongest portfolios of Phase II/III studies globally.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Parenteral Formulation and Process Development Scientist to support drug product (DP) development. You will work in a cross-functional project team to design, perform, and document experiments related to formulation and process development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, conduct, and document scientific experiments with minimal supervision.
  • Evaluate and interpret results, contributing to experimental design and process optimization.
  • Perform literature searches and communicate findings or challenges within the team.
  • Contribute to the upkeep and calibration of laboratory instruments.
  • Ensure compliance with internal development processes and safety regulations (HSE).
  • Maintain timely completion of all required trainings.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical industry setting.
  • Solid understanding of parenteral product, process, and formulation development.
  • Experience with NBE, Oligonucleotide, or Radioligand Therapy (RLT) development is a plus.
  • Hands-on expertise with laboratory tools such as lyophilization, spray drying, analytical instruments, and autoclaves.
