For our client, a leading Swiss MedTech company, we are looking for a
Systems Engineer MedTech (5253)
The role is based in the Berne area, Switzerland, with a hybrid (60% onsite) setting.
Your main tasks
- Requirements Engineering / Management: Definition of requirements for new systems in cooperation with Marketing and Business Development
- System Architecture: Development of the functional and physical system architecture
- Collaboration with involved departments (software, hardware and mechanical development, risk management and testing)
- Incorporation of standards and legal requirements for the system
- Development and maintenance of requirements and design documents as well as traceability
Your profile
- Basic technical education (electronics technician, computer scientist or design engineer)
- Further education as engineer FH or ETH (resp. Bachelor or Master), specializing in electrical engineering, software, micro or biomedical engineering
- 5+ years of experience in the field of systems engineering / requirements engineering or 3+ years of experience in the field of systems engineering / / requirements engineering and 2+ years of experience in medical industry
- Strong affinity to SW based systems
- Experience in software or system architecture design
- Experience in medical technology or another regulated environment
- Knowledge on medical grade standards (e.g. IEC 60601-1 and its collaterals, IEC 62304 etc) is a plus
- Experience with IBM DOORS Next Generation is a plus
- Very good English skills, good knowledge in German is a plus
