The organisation focusses on novel therapies in Oncology and Ophthalmology and is also currently developing a world-leading pipeline in Neuroscience and Dermatology with one of the strongest pipelines of Phase II/III studies in the world.
For their office in Basel city, we are currently looking for a:
Authentifield Library Producer
Start date: Immediately
Duration: 18+ month
In this role you will work Anti-falsified medicine program, which is destined to combat pharmaceutical crime and create the conditions to bring counterfeiters and illegal traders to justice, recover losses through legal action, improve patient safety, preserve companies reputation, and create a tangible return on investment for the business.
Main Responsibilities:
- Spectral Library Production Management: Oversee the creation, maintenance, and validation of spectral libraries essential for detecting falsified medicines. Ensure accurate and up-to-date spectral data collection, recording, and validation.
- LabScanner Maintenance: Manage the calibration and operational status of LabScanner devices, conducting periodic and preventive maintenance to ensure performance, accuracy, and traceability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including quality control labs and manufacturing sites, to ensure smooth operations and provide insights for forensic casework and library production activities.
- Forensic Exhibit Management: Supervise the receipt, documentation, and storage of forensic exhibits in line with best practices.
- Documentation & Records Management: Maintain detailed records of library production processes and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Training & Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively access and utilize the LabScanners within the Authentifield ecosystem.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Spectroscopy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific field, or equivalent education with experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in spectral analysis, pharmaceutical evaluation, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing spectral libraries and conducting spectral assessments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using spectroscopy tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in common computer applications such as SAP, MS Office, SharePoint, and laboratory-specific applications (e.g., Chromeleon, databases).
